Monday: closed
Tuesday to Sunday: all exhibitions open from 10.00
Ticket office and admission: until 17.00
Closing of the permanent exhibitions starts at 17.25
MúzeumShop: 10.00–17.45
Fine Art Café: 10.00–17.30 (only with admission ticket)
The building is closed at 18:00.

Wednesday, 1 May: OPEN as above

On every second Friday of each month  changed opening hour – next on 10 May: 
Open: from 12.00
Ticket office and admission: until 19.00 (with prepurchased ticket also)
Closing: from 19.25
MúzeumShop: 12.00- 19.45
Fine Art Café: 12.00- 19.30 (only with admission ticket)
The building is closed at 20.00.

ADMISSION TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased online and at the on-site ticket office as well, both in advance and at the time of the visit, from separate quotas. Reservations and refunds are not possible.
In the case of temporary exhibitions, the hourly bands refer to the expected time of arrival, the duration of the visit is not limited. Tickets do not include guided tours. Ticket prices and discounts, ticket purchase options>>

Entry is only possible with a ticket. FREE TICKET is only issued by the ticket office at the time of the visit, with proof of eligibility.

GENERAL SERVICES

• Audio guide service is available to the permanent exhibitions for a fee of HUF 1200 also in foreign languages: in English, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and partly also in German.
• Groups can visit the exhibitions on their own. For more information please click here. For inquiries about group visits from 30 persons please, write to info@mfab.hu.
• On-site guided tours may be ordered for groups at least two weeks before the visit, the price is HUF 20.000 / group of max. 18 persons. For more information and booking please write to education@mfab.hu.   
• For families adventure kits (suitcase) can be borrowed for 1-3 children to the permanent exhibitions (plesase check its opening hours).

  Backpacks, bags larger than 25 cm high x 30 cm long × 15 cm wide, umbrellas are not permitted in the exhibition areas, usual cloakroom and cabinets are available for their placement. Cabinets can only be used with a 100 HUF coin (or 1 EUR), and we cannot provide exchange.  A small linen bag can be borrowed for your valuables, with which you can visit the exhibitions.
