Masterpieces from the Collection of Old Master Paintings I.
15:00 - 16:00
Let’s explore together!
The guided tours of the Museum of Fine Arts Budapest are open to individual visitors who would like to know more about the most famous artworks in its collections.
During the 60-minute tour, from the Gothic altarpieces to the artworks of the sixteenth century, we cover a great historical timeline of international fine arts, including works by Lucas Cranach the Elder, Raffaello, Tiziano and El Greco.
We offer comprehensive and thematic guided tours in all of our permanent and temporary exhibitions. Rather than passing on a mass of information, we encourage our visitors to form their own opinions, establish personal contact with the works of art, and encounter topics and themes relevant to them in our exhibition spaces. We facilitate learning in an entertaining format, while also pointing to broader cultural and art historical contexts
Price of guided tour: HUF 2,000/person (no pre-registration is required)
You can save money with the MFAB Annual Ticket
Come more, see more, explore more. Those with an Annual Ticket who come to the guided tours in our permanent and graphic art exhibitions only need to buy a supplementary ticket, since their entry tickets are included in the Annual Ticket. Please check in advance the admission rules on the museum’s website: https://www.mfab.hu/museum-rules/
