The oval-shaped stamp seal was made of turquoise blue Egyptian faience. The obverse is decorated with a uraeus attributed with strong protective powers and representing the daughter of the sun god, Re on the right, and a falcon-headed god wearing the double crown of the unified Egypt on the left. Similar stamp seals were popular during the New Kingdom (ca. 1539–1077 BC) and the Third Intermediate Period (ca. 1076–723 BC). The back handle is decorated with an indication of gathered lines, “bound” at the centre, where the object is perforated.
