The multi-generation programs of the Museum of Fine Arts have something in store for everyone in the family: the little and the big, the young and the old. (Please note, that all programs below are conducted exclusively in Hungarian.)
“Mama nézd!/Look, Mom” is a special guided tour for mothers with 0-1 year old babies, offering a pleasant atmosphere for the museum visit.
“Szemezgető/Showcase” provides families with children an excellent opportunity to become well-acquainted with a single work of art and then create their own work of art on the spot related to the discussed masterpiece.
While on their spring or autumn school breaks, children are welcome to participate in “Múzeumi Szünetelő/Break away”, our playful guided tour of the temporary exhibition.
Older children might be interested in the wide array of activities offered by “Szépműhely”. These creative programs, studded with music, may prove a pleasant, relaxing mode of recreation not only for families, but all interested visitors.
