Wine Wednesdays at the Vasarely Museum // Harmony and Shadows

Special / Evening programs
Vasarely Museum
August 19, 2020

18:00 - 22:00

Many things have been changing around us but – we hope – that one thing remains the same: Wine Wednesdays, which are annually held at the Vasarely Museum and the Hungarian National Gallery. Wine and the fine arts both form an integral part of Hungarian culture so a better match would be hard to find. The popular Wine Wednesday evenings guarantee a vibrant atmosphere, fine wines and inspiring guided tours to audiences along with presentations linked to the evenings’ central themes and memorable concerts.

Wine Wednesdays at the Vasarely Museum in 2020 are literally one-off events as the museum’s doors will re-open on these evenings to entertain visitors with unforgettable experiences. This year’s first events will be held at the Vasarely Museum in Óbuda on 19 and 26 August. On the Wine Wednesday evening on 19 August, titled Harmonies and Shades and on the one titled Reflections and Contrasts, held on 26 Augustthe Vasarely Museum awaits the public with Victor Vasarely’s oeuvre exhibition and the seasonal show Code and Algorithm as well as guided tours, exquisite wines, classical and contemporary music and dance performances by Art Bonbons and its well-known refreshing green garden.
