All the earlier restrictions about admission have been cancelled from 3 July, 2021.
Everyone is welcome, no need for immunity certificate.

Monday: closed
Tuesday-Wednesday: only the temporary exhibitions The Discovery of the Pharao’s Tomb and the Hunting during the Renaissance Era are open 10.00-18.00
(Permanent exhibitions and the Romanesque Hall is closed), 
Thursday to Sunday: all exhibitions open 10.00–18.00
Thursday-Friday, 14-15 October – Romanesque Hall is CLOSED 

Ticket office and admission: until 17.00
Closing of exhibitions starts at 17.30

Museum Shop: 10.00–17.45
Fine Art Café: 10.00–17.30 (only with admission ticket)

National Holiday – Saturday, 23 October: free admission to all exhibitions 10.00-17.00

  • Backpacks, bags larger than 30 × 40 cm, umbrellas and wet coats are not permitted in the exhibition areas, usual cloakroom and cabinets are available for their placement. Cabinets can only be used with a 100 HUF coin (or 1 EUR), and we cannot provide exchange.
