The cults of lesser-known Egyptian deities were diffused beyond the Nile: the relief that was erected in honour of the sphinx-shaped Totoes – Egyptian Tutu – originates from Imperial period Macedonia.
Marble analyses have shown that the relief was made of Thasian marble.
