Transverse oval, both faces slightly convex. Black stone. Chipped on side A at the right foot of the Anguipes, a small part of the stone broken off and missing, resulting in a lacuna on both sides. A: On the left: frontal view of a cock-headed Anguipes in armour, head to right. Right hand raised high, left hand holding a round shield, antilabe visible. Inscription below the snake-legs: ιαω → Ἰάω. On the right: two animal-headed figures in armour (?), with raised hands, facing each other; between them: character; above the heads: pair of characteres. Around: ωσπροκειτα”[“.”]” → ὡς πρόκειτα”[“ι”]”. ‘As it is prescribed.’ B: Greek inscription in three lines: δε (on the two sides: crescents open to top and six-pointed stars) |”[“- -“]”ιχαησ| “[“- -“]”νω (crescent open to top, six-pointed star). Before ν, traces of a letter (υ or χ) → unidentified vox.
