Dear Visitors,
Due to the public health emergency caused by Covid-19, the Museum of Fine Arts Budapest and all its member institutions, i.e., the Hungarian National Gallery, the Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asiatic Arts and the Vasarely Museum, will be closed for an indefinite period of time from 17 March 2020.
Our (Museum+ events) scheduled for this spring will be postponed and held at a later date.
The Museum+ series continues in 2020 with extended opening hours. One evening a month when visitors can enjoy special events until late in the evening, including performances by the coolest artists.
One Thursday evening each month, the museum stays open for those who wish to explore the old and new masterpieces of our collections as an afterwork activity. The programme contains exciting guided tours, talks, lectures, fine wine and inspiring performances of the sister arts.

The events can be visited with a valid museum admission ticket or with a Museum+ ticket. Discounts for daytime tickets are also applicable to tickets for the evening event.
During the Museum+ evening tickets for the event can also be bought in the museum’s ticket offices.
You can also buy a Museum+ season ticket and get a 10% discount and two glasses of sparkling wine.
This season ticket entitles its holder to participate in four of the monthly Museum+ evenings, where we welcome visitors with guided tours, inspiring talks, music and fine food until 10 p.m. Four evenings, each with a different theme and atmosphere, alternately held in the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hungarian National Gallery.
The season ticket is valid for four out of the eight Museum+ evenings advertised for the period from 13 February 2020 to 10 December 2020. Those who buy the season ticket will receive two complimentary glasses of sparkling wine on one occasion of their choice.
The season ticket can be used as a collective ticket, for entry by more than one person on one occasion.
